After 20 years in the bar and restaurant industry, and a 7-year stint as the COO of a fast-growing tech company, when my second son was born I decided I wanted a career that would keep me closer to home and family.

With a lifelong career in service and a deep love of this area that I’ve spent my entire life in, real estate was just a natural fit.

I love to educate and inform which is why I created the AskPete Real Estate Institute. I wanted to create a space where the people in my community could come to freely learn more about the real estate buying and selling process, mortgages and other important parts of real estate financing, the terminology you’ll often hear but might not know entirely what it means, how to care for their homes, and even information for how to improve your home so you can fall in love with it again.

A knowledgeable consumer is an empowered one.
