If you’re a Hudson local, you know that the Hudson Yacht Club is THE summer hangout spot for families, couples, and friends of all ages. It’s right in the heart of town on the Lake of Two Mountains, and has been around since 1909, hosting members and families for breezy summer days on the water. 🚤
Join Ellis as we head to the Hudson Yacht Club for his swimming lessons! 🏊♂️
I love the approach they take at HYC for the swimming lessons. During the summer, we bring Ellis for a 30 minute lesson every single weekday. This consistency has helped him improve tremendously every summer since we started lessons here! 🌊
And what’s awesome about doing them at HYC is that after he’s done, there are so many kids around and fun activities for him that often my wife Jenn stays here with the kids all day long! Between the canteen as an option when we don’t have time (or the energy!) to pack a lunch, the playground, and other events and activities going on all summer, we have everything we could need in one central place!
And being that it is a somewhat contained area, with the lake on one side, trees and gate security on the other, the kids tend to be able to have a lot more freedom than they do other places we go!
My family and I are so fortunate to have a community hangout that keeps our boys active and thriving. Every day spent here is full of adventure and memories, and we look forward to sharing more with you! ⚓️
