The AskPete Real Estate Institute is a federally incorporated Canadian educational non-profit whose mission is to educate and empower our community to become the best possible stewards of the wealth they accumulate in their homes, and to make homeownership more accessible.
Our Mission
We recognize that for most Canadians, the majority of their wealth at retirement will come from the equity in their home, and that homeownership is one of the most powerful ways to raise a family’s standard of living and financial wellbeing. That means knowing the ins and outs of how to buy, sell, and manage this asset is of paramount importance.
We started the AskPete Real Estate Institute, which is a Federally Incorporated Non-Profit to make homeownership more accessible, and help our community become great stewards of the wealth they accumulate in their homes.
We do this through creating educational videos, and by providing access to free services and consultations to educate and empower our community.
How We Help
Every week we produce educational videos which answer common questions and demystify complex and intimidating topics about homeownership including maintenance, renovations, buying, selling, and financing. We also offer free, no-obligations consultations to answer any questions you might have about real estate.
Impact
Through the AskPete Real Estate Institute, our goal is to help provide a path to homeownership for underprivileged families in our community.
Recognizing that families with stability and confidence in their living situation achieve more consistent outcomes for their children around education and employment, while also creating the ability to enable access to homeownership for future generations, we see this as a significant and important outcome from our work.
